How Side Street Weddings uses cookies and similar storage on your device, what is actually set, and how to change your mind at any time.
What these technologies are
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. The same rules we apply to cookies also apply to other storage on your device: localStorage, sessionStorage, tracking pixels and any embedded third-party service.
First-party storage is set by Side Street Weddings. Third-party storage is set by another provider, such as our payment processor. Session storage disappears when you close the tab; persistent storage stays until it expires or you clear it.
How consent works here
On your first visit you can Accept all, Reject all, or Manage preferences. All three are on the first layer and are equally easy to use. Nothing optional is pre-enabled, and scrolling or closing the banner is not consent.
Strictly necessary storage is always active because the site cannot provide what you asked for without it. Analytics, Functional and Marketing are off until you switch them on.
Rejecting everything does not limit the product: you can still browse, personalise stationery, buy, pay, download, recover a purchase and contact support.
We ask again when the consent framework materially changes, when new purposes or relevant providers are added, or after a conservative renewal period.
What is actually set
This is the real registry for the deployed site. Third-party durations are set by that provider, not by us. No advertising, retargeting, social tracking, heatmap, session-replay or fingerprinting technologies are installed.
Remembers your cookie choice (version, the four category answers and the date).

First-touch and last-touch campaign labels (source, medium, campaign, referring site, landing path, timestamp). Used to understand which pages and campaigns are useful. No names, wording, emails, guest data or images.

Campaign attribution
If you arrive from a link with campaign parameters, we read those labels for the current page view. They are only written to your device once you allow Analytics; if you decline, nothing is stored and no visitor profile is built.
Campaign labels never contain personal wedding information.
Withdrawing consent and browser controls
Open Cookie Settings from the footer at any time to accept, reject or change categories. When you withdraw consent we stop optional processing immediately and delete the optional Side Street storage listed above.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may stop checkout or your saved draft from working.
Where your browser sends a recognised opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control, we honour it: marketing stays off and Cookie Settings shows that the signal has been recognised.
